Charity appeal for runners
LOCAL charity, The Sara Lee Trust, is looking for runners to put their best foot forward and take part in the Hastings Half Marathon to help raise much needed funds.
Voted the Hastings and Bexhill 2010 Charity of the year, the Trust supports local people in Hastings, Rother and Rye living with cancer, motor neurone disease or HIV/aids.
Fundraising manager, Maria Gonet, said: “We would be delighted with any amount you are able to raise which will be used to fund our core work providing seriously ill local people with complementary therapies, creative arts therapies, counselling and sanctuary days.”
The Trust is able to provide support to runners with fundraising online, sponsorship forms and information, plus a running vest or T-shirt.
