Cheers! Wine tasting raises charity cash

Owner Paul Curtis and his partner Mandy Dade decided to hold the fundraiser in support of the children’s cancer charity because Mandy’s teenage son Sean suffered a tumour in his head.

He was diagnosed the day he was due to start sitting his GCSEs.

Mandy said she and Sean received great help from CLIC Sargent during their difficult time and she hoped to give something back to the charity.

Their evening was a great success and the three of them would like to thank all those who turned out to take part in the wine tasting as well as those businesses which contributed, such as Hennings Wine Merchants, Carrolls florists, Max Expectations, Starz hair and beauty salon
