Civil Service Retirement Fellowship. (CSRF)

What a treat the members had at their coffee morning on Tuesday 23rd November when they were entertained for well over an hour by actors tales of stage and cinema in the UK but mainly in the USA by Johnathan Lindsey, who acted in Last of the Summer Wine - Pirates of the Caribbean series and who is also a producer.

Representatives from the RAFA - NHSF - CSRA and the CSRF had a meeting to discuss the mutual benefits of sharing outing and luncheons. Mike Price (CSRF/RAFA) is putting together a programme of possible venues for 2016. This will be discussed and submitted to all the Club’s members after an inter club meeting in the new year. A good turn out is expected at the CSRF Christmas luncheon on the 10th December at the Hydro Hotel Eastbourne, with 88 having signed up to attend. There will be one of Phyl’s brain teasers at the first meeting of 2016 on Tuesday 26th January at 10-0am at the Bexhill Sailing Club, on the Marina Bexhill. All are welcome, so if we don’t see you at Christmas Luncheon have a very pleasant Christmas and New Year. Any information on the activities of the CSRF please contact Phyl McEwan 01424-219589 or Brian Thring 0424-215686.
