“Recently we have seen an increase in criminal damage, which we believe is linked to these groups.

“It is important that parents and guardians know the whereabouts of their children and are aware of the negative impact that groups roaming the streets can have on the local community.”

Sergeant Miller Added: “We are pleased to be supported by local councils, anti-social behaviour officers, local housing groups and of course our local residents.”

If anyone sees any anti-social behaviour or have information about those responsible they should contact Sussex Police by email at [email protected] or call 101. In an emergency, ring 999.
