Classic bikes visit Battle and Langton school

Members of Bexhill Classic Cycle Group arrived in full Victorian and Edwardian costume at the Battle and Langton CE Primary School to talk and show their classic bikes.

John Hunnisett explained the difference between a historic bicycle and modern ones, followed by a long questions and answers session.

Ray Konyn, organiser of the Classic Cycle Group said: "We were amazed by the energy and enthusiasm displayed by the children and their stream of intelligent questions which showed a deep understanding of the environmental and health benefits of cycling and also a strong grasp of the mechanics".
