Closure of Bexhill Observer office

AS from next Monday, July 9, the reception at the Observer's Sackville Road office will be closed.

Changing customer practices mean that few people now place advertisements over the counter. Most contact is with our editorial team and our reporters - although we will be shortly looking for a new base for them in the town - will, for the time being, remain in Sackville Road.

“We remain fully committed to Bexhill and to our edition for the town and its surrounding communities,”said Keith Ridley, the Observer’s editor-in-chief.

“The Observer - with its editions for Bexhill, Hastings, Rye and Battle - remains one of the largest selling series of weekly papers in the UK,and our website and digital audience is growing by the week.

“In September, in fact, we are planning a relaunch of the Observer which we are sure will improve still further the look and content of your paper.”
