Over the last few months, the Anglican and Catholic Bishops in Sussex have pledged a joint response to the refugee situation in Europe.

They are inviting church communities to consider how to offer help through the appropriate agencies.

In particular, they are calling for prayer, offers of accommodation, registering of skills that could be useful and making financial contributions through local groups such as www.brightonvoicesinexile.co.uk or nationally through the Red Cross or Oxfam.
