Concern grows for missing Bexhillian

POLICE are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of 46-year-old Steven Ridgley, who has been missing from Bexhill since January 18, and have renewed an appeal for help in tracing him or for him to come forward.

A motorist reported a possible sighting of Mr Ridgley, of Knebworth Road, walking on the roadside near the A22 Boship roundabout at Hailsham at 5.15am on February 12.

Sergeant Dave Gill, of Rother Neighbourhood Response Team, said: “His family say his disappearance is out of character. It is possible he is sleeping rough and I would ask householders to check sheds and outbuildings.”
