COUNTY NEWS: Power cut affects terminal at Gatwick

Passengers arriving and departing from Gatwick may experience delays following a power cut at one of its terminals this evening (Sunday, June 28).

According to the Sussex airport’s Twitter feed, the power outage took place more than an hour ago, affecting thousands of holidaymakers and travellers.

Gatwick said engineers worked hard to restore power, which had been lost in several areas of the South Terminal.

The power outage affected some check-ins and airlines.
