COURT RESULTS: Round-up of cases from 1066 Country

The following are court results for the Observer area from Hastings Magistrates' Court from February 8 - February 15.

February 8:

Karl Perring (aged 21), of Chapel Park Road, St Leonards, was found guilty of causing £500 damage to a shop window. The offence took place at Hastings on September 18 last year. The court made a community order with a requirement of a six week electronically monitored curfew between 9pm and 6am and ordered him to pay £250 compensation.

February 9:

Jake Faulkner (aged 21), of Hastings Road, Bexhill, pleaded guilty to harassment of a woman and disclosing a private sexual photograph or film without her consent. The offences took place at Bexhill between October 23 and 29 last year. He was sentenced to eight weeks in prison, suspended for one year. The court also made a community order with a requirement of 200 hours of unpaid work and issued a restraining order.

Luke Smith (aged 25), of Sidley Street, Bexhill, was found guilty of entering a dwelling with intent to steal. The offence took place at Egremont Place, Hastings, on September 18. The court made a community order and fined him £50.

Shannon Adams (aged 21), of Sandown Road, Hastings, pleaded guilty to driving a Volkswagen vehicle on London Road, Hurst Green, on May 18 last year, without due care and attention. He was fined £200 and his driving record endorsed with six penalty points.

James Thorogood (aged 21), of Eridge Road, Crowborough, pleaded guilty to threatening to kill a woman. The offence took place at Hastings on October 15. He also pleaded guilty to a further charge of using racially aggravated threatening behaviour at London Road, St Leonards, on November 15. He was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison, suspended for one year. The court also made a community order and issued a restraining order.

February 13:

Dean Cambridge (aged 26), of Bromley Green Road, Ruckinge, Kent, pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm. The offence took place at Whitebread Lane, Beckley, on July 2 last year. The court made a community order with a requirement of 60 hours of unpaid work.

Daniel Johnson (aged 25), of Speldhurst Close, Ashford, Kent, pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm. The offence took place at Whitebread Lane, Beckley, on July 2 last year. He was given an eight month conditional discharge.

Luke Anderson (aged 32), of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to stealing items worth £223.95 from Sports Direct, at Hastings, on August 9. He also pleaded guilty to stealing three bottles of whisky and four cans of cider, worth £50, from Morrisons supermarket in Hastings, on November 23. He admitted failing to comply with a community order. He was sentenced to a total of ten weeks in prison.

February 15:

Seyhan Ibryam (aged 32), of Devonshire Road, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to driving a Volkswagen Golf at Bexhill, on December 15, with cannabis in his blood stream. He was fined £120 and banned from driving for one year.

Robert Lowe (aged 39), of Magdalen Road, St Leonards, pleaded guilty to stealing men’s fragrance, to the value of £24.99, from TK Maxx at St Leonards, on November 30. He was given a one year conditional discharge.

Robert Piecka (aged 23), of Castle Hill Road, Hastings, pleaded guilty to driving an Audi car on Battle Road, St Leonards, on November 5, with cannabis in his blood stream. He was fined £220 and banned from driving for 18 months.

Adam Smith (aged 26), of Marina, St Leonards, pleaded guilty to two charges of being in breach on a non-molestation order by sending emails. The offences took place at Hastings, on December 31 and January 7. The court made a community order with a requirement of 80 hours of unpaid work.

Adrian Stoean (aged 44), of Upper Maze Hill, St Leonards, pleaded guilty to driving a black BMW on Pevensey Road, St Leonards, on January 27 while more than twice over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 94 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35mg. The court made a community order with a requirement of 80 hours of unpaid work and banned him from driving for two years.

Simba Dzimwasha (aged 31), of Preston Road, Bexhill, pleaded guilty to driving a Citroen Berlingo, on Cornwallis Gardens, Hastings, on January 28, while three times over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 105 milligrammes. The legal limit is 35mg.

The court made a community order with a requirement of 90 hours of unpaid work and banned him from driving for two years.

Steven Elliott (aged 28), of Avard Crescent, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to driving a Toyota Celica on the A259 at Marina, St Leonards, on December 18 with cannabis in his blood stream. He was fined £120 and banned from driving for one year.

Daruosh Emami (aged 20), of Roundwood Road, St Leonards pleaded guilty to using violence to force entry to a property at Mulberry Walk, St Leonards, on January 28 and to destroying a door worth £1,500. He pleaded guilty to assault by beating on the same date. The court made a community order with a requirement of 100 hours of unpaid work and ordered him to pay £300 in compensation.
