Crime: have your say and hold decision-makers to account

The Partnership is inviting residents to say what they think about crime and anti-social behaviour in Rother and, in doing so, to shape future priorities for crime reduction in the area.

At the Town Hall in Bexhill, between 4pm and 7.30pm, representatives of each statutory partner '“ Sussex Police, Rother District Council, East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, Hastings and Rother Primary Care Trust, Sussex Police Authority and East Sussex County Council '“ will be available to hear residents' comments and concerns, as well as to answer any questions residents may have about community safety in Rother.

During the event presentations will be made to residents who have made a significant contribution to reducing crime and the fear of crime in Rother over the last 12 months.

Light refreshments will also be available.

Chief Inspector Heather Keating, chair of the Safer Rother Partnership, said; "This is a great opportunity for our residents to speak to the people who make decisions about community safety in the district, to ask any questions, to find out more about how we are working together to tackle crime in Rother."
