Bexhill garages targeted in '˜attempted break-ins'

Police are appealing for information about a series of attempted break-ins to garages in Bexhill.

Six garages in the Wrestwood Road and Watergate areas were targeted with locks damaged and tampered with overnight on Sunday into Monday (November 13-14), police said.

It does not appear that whoever was responsible managed to gain access to any of them.

Sergeant Ian Miller said: “We’d like to hear from anyone with information about these incidents and would urge people to report any suspicious activity as soon as they see it happening.

“Garage owners can find information on how best to protect their premises and property at www.askthe.police.uk/content/Q82.htm.”

Anyone with information is asked to email [email protected] or call 101 quoting serial 960 of 14/11.
