Bexhill to Hastings link road closed after police pursuit

The Bexhill to Hastings link road has been closed after police stopped a vehicle which had been involved in a pursuit.

Combe Valley Road is closed at Bexhill as a result of the incident.

Rother Police said the vehicle stopped after it made off from Sussex Roads Police officers.

The driver is now in custody, according to police.

Police said nobody was hurt in the incident, which also saw the police helicopter dispatched.
