A police spokesman said: “Last week, officers issued the owner with a Community Protection Warning, outlining conditions that must be met to prevent the dog from being a risk when out.

“This morning, we received a call reporting that this same dog had become aggressive towards a male.

“Officers attended the address, where the dog was seized and the owner was spoken to. At this stage, our enquiries still continue.”
