December 18:

Jonathon Wisdom, 39, of St Helens Road, Hastings, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis when required to do so by police under the Road Traffic Act 1988. The offence took place at Hastings, on May 13 last year. He also pleaded guilty to driving a Volkswagen Polo on Woodsgate Park, Bexhill, on the same date, with no licence or insurance. He was fined £180 and banned from driving for 60 months.

Justin Lee, 47, of Bexhill Road, St Leonards, was found guilty of failing to provide information to police relating to the identity of the driver of a Ford vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence in Sussex on November 13 last year. He was fined £660 and ordered to pay £620 in prosecution costs. His driving record was endorsed with six penalty points.

Ian Bishop, 52, of Brendon Rise, Hastings, pleaded guilty to driving a Renault vehicle on Castle Hill Road, Hastings, on July 3, last year, with cocaine and the controlled drug Benzoylecgonine in his blood stream. He also pleaded guilty to driving a Renault vehicle on the B2096 Battle Road, at Netherfield on July 21, with cocaine in his blood stream. The court made a community order and banned him from driving for 38 months.

Alex Shell, 31, of Edmund Road, Hastings, pleaded guilty to driving a BMW vehicle of Churchill Avenue, Hastings, on September 18, last year, while twice over the drink drive limit. He gave a blood alcohol reading of 181 milligrammes. The legal limit is 80 milligrammes. He was fined £120 and banned from driving for 19 months.

Lucinda Eldridge, 36, of Pebsham Lane, Bexhill, pleaded guilty to driving a BMW on Dorset Road, Bexhill, on June 24, last year, with the controlled drug Benzoylecgonine in her blood stream. She also pleaded guilty to driving with no insurance at Bexhill on the same date. She was fined £60 and banned from driving for one year.

Alice Wenham, 35, of Amherst Close, Hastings, pleaded guilty to driving a Toyota vehicle on Bohemia Road, Hastings, on July 1, last year, with cocaine and the controlled drug Benzoylecgonine in her blood stream. She was fined £80 and banned from driving for one year.

Isa Genc, 37, of Towerscroft Avenue, St Leonards, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis when required to do so by police. The offence took place at Hastings on November 17 last year. He was fined £80 and banned from driving for one year.

Sam Rose, 25, of Coombe Shaw, Ninfield, Battle, pleaded guilty to driving a Ford vehicle at Paddock Gardens, Polegate, on January 26, last year, with cannabis in his blood stream. He also indicated a plea of guilty to being in possession of a quantity of cannabis at Polegate on the same date. He was fined £461 and banned from driving for one year. He was given a six month conditional discharge for the possession offence.

Karen Walker, 55, of Penland Road, Bexhill, pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall vehicle at Bexhill on May 7, last year, with cocaine and the controlled drug Benzoylecgonine in her blood stream. She was fined £136 and banned from driving for one year.

Jonathon Craig, 36, of Dorset Road, Bexhill, pleaded guilty to driving a Honda vehicle on Bexhill Road, St Leonards, on June 1, last year, while three times over the drink drive limit. He gave a blood alcohol reading of 247 milligrammes. The legal limit is 80 milligrammes. The court made a community order with a requirement of 100 hours of unpaid work and banned him from driving for 26 months.

Jason Worley, 40, of Churchill Avenue, Bexhill, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of blood for testing, when required to do by police under the Road Traffic Act 1988. The offence took place at Hastings on August 19 last year. The court made a community order with a requirement of 120 hours of unpaid work and banned him from driving for 42 months.

Stuart Burch, 60, of Horntye Road, St Leonards, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle on Barnhorn Road, Bexhill, on October 30, last year, while twice over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 87 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. He was fined £461 and banned from driving for 18 months.

Peter Morris, 23, of Fairlight Road, Hastings, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis when suspected of being in charge of a motor vehicle, when requested to do so by police under the Road Traffic Act 1988. The offence took place at Hastings on October 8 last year. He was fined £369 and his driving record endorsed with ten penalty points.

Cherie Ridger, 42, of Whitehorse Lane, London, pleaded guilty to driving a Ford Focus on the A21 at Flimwell, on May 11 last year, with cocaine and cannabis in her blood stream. She was fined £120 and banned from driving for 14 months.

Olivia Haizelden, 19, of Brookland Road, Bexhill, pleaded guilty to driving a Volkswagen vehicle on The Rising, Eastbourne, on June 13, last year, with cannabis in her bloodstream. She was fined £80 and banned from driving for one year.

January 4:

Robert Gibson, 37, of Middletune Avenue, Sittingbourne, Kent, pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman by beating her. The offence took place at West Hill Road, St Leonards, on September 12. The court made a community order with a requirement of 120 hours of unpaid work and ordered him to pay £50 compensation. Magistrates issued a restraining order.
