“It allows us to move a lot of our services into the cloud, and use that effectively, and we’re just looking at updating our box office system where that will be kept remotely,” he said.

“It also allows us to provide a greater service to our customers so we’re very keen to be a better business hub for Bexhill so that say freelancers can come and work in our cafe who’ll also be able to take advantage of those facilities.

“We pride ourselves here at the pavilion of giving plus one customer service and attention to detail and I think Beaming give us a similar customer service.”

Beaming managing director Sonia Blizzard said having the necessary broadband speed is ‘critical’ to a business’ success.

“Expectations of everyone now are that they can connect any time, anywhere, and if businesses are offline their ability to serve customers and work efficiently are diminished,” she said.

“Reliable connectivity is even more vital for organisations accessing cloud based services.

“Having the right Internet capacity is now a crucial part of business resilience.”

Mr Drew said the pavilion would struggle to function without the Internet as it is crucial to the box office and communications.

“The most important part of our business is our box office, we currently sell in excess of 50,000 tickets a year so it gives us the ability to sell tickets 24/7 via the Internet,” he said.

“But of course, social media and communications are really important both for ourselves and for our audiences, and then there’s the office team that make everything happen.

“We’ve been using Beaming just over a year. It’s about a one thousand per cent improvement on what we had before and also they’ve managed the transition from another supplier seamlessly.”
