Derailment causes rail delays
Rail passengers are facing delays to Southern services to and from Brighton this morning (Thursday June 2).
Southern says that a derailment within the depot at Brighton is causing delays of up to 20 minutes to trains to and from Brighton.
This is expected to continue until 8.30am.
Southern adds that train services continue to be severely affected by a high level of conductor and driver sickness.
This is leading to a reduced service on a number of routes. A change of train en-route may be required for some journeys.
