East Sussex Hunt sets off from Battle
MORE than 1,000 people were expected in Battle today for the traditional Boxing Day gathering of the East Sussex and Romney Marsh Hunt.
The colourful occasion saw the High Street filled with horses and hounds as the Hunt forms up on the Abbey Green.
Around 1,500 spectators and 70 riders were at last year's event.
