The first is a stand up gig Force Majeure in the auditorium on Tuesday 23 Dec and a screening of his film Lost Christmas (PG) on Monday 29.
With only a handful of tickets left after the gig was announced online last Friday (with over 800 selling in 24 hours), Bexhill and beyond has responded to this special surprise from Eddie and DLWP.
There are still tickets left for Eddie’s second Bexhill appearance this holiday: a screening of Lost Christmas, (PG) described by Eddie as “a mix of It’s a Wonderful Life and Shameless” which will be followed by a talk and Q&A session with Eddie and the film’s director and writer.
This will be the last event in the auditorium before it closes or a few weeks to replace the air
DLWP Director Stewart Drew said: “I would like to thank Eddie for his support of the auditorium project and for coming back home to Bexhill to perform over Christmas.
“We’ve been thrilled with the community’s support of our live programme over the last two years, that has allowed us to regain our status as an important live venue and hub for the surrounding area.
“We’re starting to re-invest in the auditorium, and the wider building as we approach our 80th anniversary, and Eddie’s support has attracted other public and private investment that will ensure what we doing is sustainable, and that we give our visitors a really great experience.”
