Dv8, Sussex’s Bexhill campus, Victoria Road, Bexhill, is holding an open evening on Wednesday November 17, 5-7pm, for young people, parents and carers to have a taste of what’s on offer.

Dv8 Sussex, a small creative college with campuses in Bexhill and Brighton, offers courses from Level 1 to Level 3 in Music Production, Media Production, Live Events and Promotions. Dan Wallman, Managing Director, Dv8 Sussex says they believe that creative people learn by having opportunities to put their passion into practice. “Because of this we keep our class sizes small,” he said. “This allows tutors to cater to each student’s individual needs and creates the perfect social environment to encourage confidence and belief in young people.

“Their tutors are a huge part of what makes them special and you can only deliver a course at Dv8 Sussex if you have extensive experience of working in the industry you wish to teach. A course at Dv8 consists of plenty of practical, real-world experience through engaging project briefs and inspiring industry guests, leading to a host of progression options.”

Now in its 13th year, Dan says this is the colleges best ever offer of courses. “I am so proud of the amazing work the students keep creating, “ he said. “The open evening is a great opportunity for people to come and see what we do and learn more about why it could be the right step for young people looking to put their passion and talent into practice. I look forward to welcoming you to the centre.”

Next week’s event is open to anyone who wants to find out more about studying at the college with a chance to talk to tutors, meet past and present students, and see some of the work being done there.
