Textile artist Claire Buckley is running a third embroidery course at Bexhill Museum.

The courses use the museum’s collections to inspire the designs and to develop new ideas for embroidery along with learning new embroidery techniques.

In the latest course the aim is to focusing on the Bexhill and Abroad world cultures display new for 2015, with objects from Africa, Asia and the Pacific, that have been collected by people with connections to Bexhill.

Claire said: “The students have a wide range of interests and experience of embroidery and textiles. It is lovely to share my passion and skills in textiles with other people.”

The five-week course costs £75 and takes place from Tuesday March 3 to March 31 from 10.30 to 12.30 or 1.30 to 3.30. To find out more call 07771 456291
