Gift of DVDs will help patients relax

LADIES from the Bexhill Classic Car Association presented a large selection of classic DVD films, boules, and games to Bexhill Hospital for the patients of The Irvine Unit.

Sue Fellows and Lesley Robinson, from the Bexhill Classic Car Association, were proud to present the gifts to Sarah Austin, staff nurse, Claire Conely, specialist nurse, and to Joan Nicholson, who is recovering in the unit,

Sarah,and Claire now have the start of a DVD library, which will be mainly used on Sunday afternoons and some evenings to help patients relax.

The Bexhill Classic Car Association is still the only free club in the area, and can only purchase gifts through the generosity of its members and raffles held throughout the year.
