There was a large turnout and joining the community were key guests from Rother District and Hastings. To end Ramadan, a day of celebration is held which is known as ‘Eid’, starting with a congregational prayer, followed by social gatherings. Eid is a day when Muslims around the world demonstrate a common goal of unity.

Bexhill Town Mayor, Simon Elford, congratulated the community for acquiring the property for the Islamic Centre at Clifford Road, currently undergoing renovation. He thanked the community for organising such a delightful event.
