Guide Dog collection day at Ravenside

They were with their owners Alan and Barbara Miley who joined other volunteers from Bexhill Hastings and Rother Guide Dogs For The Blind Association hoping to attract the attention of busy shoppers.

Also collecting and manning the Guide Dog stall were Lorna Evans and Nigel Lockwood, who organise the event, and said: "We would like to say a big thank you to Pets At Home for being kind enough to invite us to have a collection and stall outside their shop.

He added: "We'd also like to thank Mr and Mrs Miley for coming along with their Golden Retrievers.

"We hope soon to have a final total for last month's sponsored walk along the seafront for which we can thank all our supporters - if anyone still has sponsored walk money please give it in to the treasurer as soon as possible."
