Last month. Julian Porter, Curator of Bexhill Museum told us about the incredible archaeological finds at the huge site which is the Hastings to Bexhill link road. The dig and its results have great national significance and the biggest problem will be how to present it all when it is released to the public next year. Our next meeting is on Wednesday 9th September, 7:30 p.m. Ore Community Centre, when the Speaker will be Michael Smith who will present the family story of the great polar explorer, Earnest Shackleton. Non-members always welcome.
