Have you had frozen food stolen? Police appeal

POLICE are appealing for anyone who may have had frozen food stolen from a garden shed or household freezer to come forward.

The appeal follows the early-morning arrest today by an off-duty police officer of two men in possession of a bin-liner full of frozen food.

PC Geoff Frost stopped the two men in Wainwright Road car park behind Bexhill police station at 1.30am and asked what was in the bin-liner.

One man was also found to be in possession of what police believe to be Class A drugs. Samples have been sent for forensic analysis and the two men were detained pending further inquiries.

Both men are said to be in their twenties and local.
