Help us find missing Malcolm

A FRESH appeal was made by police this week in a bid to trace a Bexhill man who disappeared last June.

They are appealing via the Observer for anyone with information about the man to come forward.

Local postman Malcolm Leeves was aged 43 at the time he disappeared. He would now be 44.

Detective Inspector Mark Link told the Observer: "He went missing from his home in Bexhill on Thursday, June 22 last year.

"He lived with flat-mates in Cranfield Road. He told one of them he was going out. He left between 830pm and 9.30pm but never came back.

"He has been missing without trace for over six months now. Despite extensive enquiries we have not located him or found any other trace of him."

Detective Inspector Ling hopes that a fresh appeal may throw up another line of enquiry for police, who have produced a "missing person" poster.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Inspector Ling on 0845 6070999.
