Bexhill Horticultural Society could be facing closure if no-one comes forward to act as officers on the committee when the Society holds its AGM on Saturday March 4.
The AGM takes place at St Martha’s Hall, Little Common at 2pm. It will be followed by a Special General Meeting, which has the motion to close the Society and dispose of all assets should no officers come forward at the AGM.
In 2014 Nick Hollingsworth stepped down after nearly 30 years as President of the Society.
Society vice chairman Mick Gregory said: “We are short of officers and desperately need some new blood to continue.
“I hope we get lots of people coming along on Saturday.”
