Hospice isasking forgardeningdonations

St Michael’s Hospice has launched an appeal for unwanted household and garden items.

The Hospice has a stand at the Rural Past Times event, a family friendly, vintage, agricultural weekend, which takes place in the grounds of Pestalozzi Village, at Sedlescombe on Saturday August 8 and Sunday 9.

The Hospice will be holding a silent auction of old garden tools, garden furniture and household furniture, including items that can be ‘up-cycled’, and is appealing to supporters for item donations towards the auction.

The Past Times event attracts thousands of visitors who come to see horses and vintage machinery working the land as in times gone by.

There will be wood working crafts, animal displays and a large number of stalls and attractions, as well as bar and refreshments

If you would like to donate any unwanted items, please drop them in to the Hospice on Upper Maze Hill, St Leonards, TN38 0LB by Friday 31st July. Larger items can possibly be collected.

For further information, please contact Tim Faulkes, Maintenance Manager, on 07827912688 or email [email protected].
