Bexhill 100 Motoring Club members launched themselves and Bexhill town centre into the Christmas festive season with a display of beautifully decorated vehicles in Devonshire Square on Saturday afternoon.
They showed off their wheels to admirers passing by and as darkness fell formed a Christmas cavalcade to dazzle shoppers and children in the streets who were thrilled to see Santa Claus driving along in his specially-created Hot Rod Sleigh.
Member Paul Brailsford, who took these photographs, said: “There was a great turnout of festively decorated classic cars on the day – probably the biggest and best lights run that we have had.
“People who saw the parade said it was great fun, and all participants were very jolly. The sleigh designers are full of ideas to make it even more special for next Christmas!
“We feel that we can build on this, and by coordinating with all the other groups who work so hard to make Christmas special for the people of Bexhill, next year should be something to really look forward to.”
