Our August meetings for visually-impaired members started with Janet’s Quiz (a mixture of rounds with some fiendish questions!) and a Raffle towards funds. The following week we enjoyed a trip out to the Coastguards Tearoom at Fairlight for a delicious cream tea. After this was a musical quiz: ‘Remember that Tune’ as members tried to identify TV Themes from 1957-1971. Our last August meeting was an interesting Tea and Chat, where we recalled and shared some of our work experiences.

We would welcome more members with sight problems and mini-bus transport may be available. We are also looking for another volunteer. We meet on Wednesday afternoons from 2.15-4.00 pm in Hastings. Further details from Marie Turner on 01424 428866 or Rosemary Bartholomew at
