Keep them happy this half-term

Get busy, entertained, and creative with good old fashioned family fun with diverting arts and crafts at Bexhill Museum.

Children are invited to visit the museum in Egerton Road on Thursday February 19 from 2 till 4 pm and enjoy a magic lantern show.

They learn how to make their own magic lantern slides and shadow puppets and then see them perform.

The costs of £3 per adult and £2.50 per child includes admission to the museum and a guided walk around this welcoming and enjoyable building to see one of the new exhibitions, and maybe spot a shining classic motorcar, admire a gothic fairytale wedding dress, or wonder at ancient African bead jewellery and money.

The entrance cost extends to all materials needed for the craft session and the following Magic Lantern show.

Best suited for children aged 4 to 11 years, all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Please book in advance by phoning the Museum on 01424 787950 or email education@bexhillmuseum.co.uk and please register by 1.50pm to be sure of your place.
