The Little Common Horticultural Society held their Christmas party at the Community Centre in Shepherds Close last week and it was well attended by members of the Society - an entertaining evening was enjoyed by everyone finishing off with a magnificent cake made by Joan Moss taking centre stage which marked 70th year of the Society. Next year there is an excellent programme of speakers planned with subjects ranging from Show Gardens to Navel Yarns starting on January 8th with Michael Hoad’s talk entitled “From Weald to Walland”. We very much welcome visitors and new members, whether experienced or novice. Do come along and try us out one evening, it costs £2 as a visitor. Our annual membership is fantastic value at only £7 - this gives you free entry to all our monthly meetings and shows. Visit the website www.lchs.co.uk for more information on the monthly meetings which are held on the 2nd Friday of the month at 7.15 pm. in the Community Centre, Shepherds Close, Little Common.
