“Customers can relax in our traditional bar with its open fires, dine in the restaurant and during summer time enjoy our large garden with a children’s play area” said licensee Lynn Adair.

“For those that like some action with their drinks, there is a full-size pool table and darts area complete with a wide screen TV.

“And there is plenty of home entertainment coming up including live music and quizzes.”

With a new menu, new opening hours and new offers for both locals and tourists, it is hoped the pub will provide a relaxing environment for food, drinks and some entertainment.

Lynn spared no expense in upgrading the inn’s premise and transformed it in the few short months it was closed.

The re-opening also created dozens of job opportunities.

“It’s been hard work” said Lynn, “and I must thank Adam Huntly, form local firm, Total Project Management who completed the whole project – they were brilliant.

“And I now have a great team of bar and restaurant staff with me to welcome both new and old customers.”

All food is home-cooked and served every day, including three-course meals to snacks and platters, as well as Sunday roasts.
