Lost In Litter at Sidley school

The aim of the show was to highlight the nuisance of litter, and head teacher Julie Reece hopes this will encourage children to take a pride in their school grounds and the wider community.

Each child has the opportunity to enter two competitions organised by Nick Beak who performed the show.

They could either design a poster to help encourage others to stop littering, or write a poem or short article about the importance or not littering.

Every pupil taking part will receive a pencil made from recycled car parts and the winning entries will receive a prize from a selection of items made from recycled materials.
