Man accused of Lauren Masters murder in court


A man accused of murdering a young mum-of-two from Bexhill is to stand trial early next year.

Paul Withers, 21, from Bexhill, is accused of killing 20-year-old Lauren Masters at her flat in Sutherland Avenue on August 28.

Withers was remanded in custody following a preliminary case management hearing at Lewes Crown Court on Friday (December 18).

A trial date has been set for February 15, 2016, at Lewes Crown Court.
