The Golden Marigold Club, which meets in Parkhurst Hall on Mondays, held a Burns celebration this week.
The hall was decorated in tartan and the haggis was paraded around the hall to the sound of pipes and drums. Frances Rowland “stabbed” the Haggis with a 90 year old Naval sword. People then enjoyed a Scottish theme quiz.
