Methodist singers spread Christmas joy

THE frost (if not the snow) might have lain deep and crisp and even but that did not prevent choristers from the town's Methodist Churches from serenading the pre-Christmas shoppers.

Carol-singing from the steps of Sackville Road Methodist Church is a popular local tradition. The singers did not disappoint this morning when they joyfully spread the Christmas message for an hour and a half.

If their feet and fingers were nipped by the cold it did not reflect in their lusty singing.
