Midsummer madness promised at St Mary's Wrestwood

COME along for some Midsummer Madness! That's the invitation from St Mary's Wrestwood Children's Trust.

The trust is hoping for lots of sunshine when it holds its annual summer fair on Saturday, June 21, from noon till 3pm in the grounds of the school in Wrestwood Road.

A warm welcome is extended to everyone to come along and have some fun. This year the fair will have a Midsummer feel to it.

There will be a free children's fancy dress competition with the theme of Midsummer Madness. This could include anything from a Madhatters Teaparty to woodland magic like fairies or pixies.

To book a place in the fancy dress competition ring the school on 01424 730740. However, entries will still be accepted on the day.

Stalls at the fair will include a grand raffle with a 100 first prize and 49 other prizes, champagne raffle, children's raffle, Pimms tent, barbecue, refreshments, cakes, tombolas, a bouncy castle and lots of ever-popular games for both children and adults.

Plans are already underway to arrange a programme of events and displays during the afternoon.

Anyone wanting further information about the fair, or to book a stall is invited to contact Sue Munn on 01424 730740.
