Missing convict could be in Bexhill

A convicted criminal, who went missing after being released from prison, is being sought by police.

James Tupper is wanted for recall to prison for breaching the terms of his release.

The 31-year-old, who has links to Battle, Bexhill and St Leonards, was released partway through a sentence for possession of a firearm on December 29.

But after failing to keep appointments with his probation worker and not residing where he agreed to live, he has been recalled to prison to complete his sentence.

Sussex Police say Tupper is not believed to pose a danger to the public, but have urged people not to challenge him. The Force has put up a £250 reward for information that leads to his arrest.
