Motorcycle stunt legend gets Guinness World Record in Bexhill

Motorcycle stunt legend Mark Van Driel returned to Bexhill last night (Tuesday) to receive his official Guinness World Record certificate for the most Switchback Zero rotations in one minute.

Mark smashed the record back in July at Bexhill Motofest and returned to the De La Warr Pavilion on Tuesday evening, where he was presented with his award by the mayor of Bexhill Abul Azad, president of the Chamber of Commerce Simon Elford and MD of HEM Events Ltd Howard Martin.

Mark then entertained the 70-strong audience of dignitaries and local businesses with a Q&A session about his stunt career working alongside such superstars as Kylie Minogue and in Hollywood blockbusters like London Has Fallen.

Howard Martin also gave a presentation about how important events are to the local economy and presented event sponsors Swinton Insurance with an official Guinness World Record participation certificate.
