Bexhill 100 Motoring Club has announced that in spite of the poor weather over the previous two August Bank Holidays, its Classic Car Show will be returning to The Polegrove on August Bank Holiday Monday (August 29).
This year marks the 12th Anniversary of Bexhill 100 Motoring Club’s Classic Car Show, which has been growing in popularity since the first one took place in 2004. This year’s show will be opened by Michael Ensor, the Chairman of East Sussex County Council.
Among the attractions, Bexhill 100 Motoring Club has arranged a special display of classic cars on show to commemorate The Queen’s 90th birthday; there will be a classic car to represent each decade of Her Majesty’s life.
Vehicles on show range from vintage to modern, some built in or purchased new in Bexhill, to cars imported from abroad.
Trade stands include a variety of food stalls, new cars, autojumble, garden equipment and toys, plus several local charities offering a chance to win some goodies on their tombolas.
Bexhill 100 Motoring Club have raised in excess of £44,000 for local charitable causes in the last 11 years. This year’s show will support Homecall, Bexhill’s Golden Marigold Club, SERV Sussex and Bexhill’s Gateway Club.
