Sarah Dyer thinks the owners Land Securities Retail should build more child-friendly spaces as she struggles to find somewhere to leave her car.

“I’m sick of never being able to park down there with two small children,” she said.

“If there are no parent parking [spaces], I take two normal spaces up as I have car seats both sides and, at times when I have parked in a normal single bay, I have been unable to get my children back in the car as other cars park too close.

“I even go to Hastings Tesco now as they have more parking but I shouldn’t have to do this.”

Land Securities has been contacted for comment.
