The garden boasts over 3,000 different species of plant and flowers, bursting with vivid colour following the warmest April on record.
The couple have spent around £15,000 creating their garden which includes 140 Japanese maples, 20 ilex golden kings, 15 juniper blue stars, two huge Virginia creepers.
The couple, who have four grown-up children and one granddaughter, are opening their garden up to the public this summer month as part of the National Gardens Scheme.
