Open gardens for Help for Heroes

It was a special day for Bexhill Horticultural Society when six Members opened their gardens to the public in aid of Help for Heroes.

Committee member Pat Reilly commented: "The sun shone as our visitors explored the different gardens, each lovingly created by their owners. The results of their labours were much appreciated and brought many compliments.

"Refreshments were available at the Chairman's garden in Glassenbury Drive, where visitors could relax and enjoy the excellent cakes and scones made and served by Committee and Helpers.
