Just A Minute

To a lot of people after the world wars it meant helping those in need. That's how it began and it still means the same today. Christians try to do God's work here on earth, but anyone can give aid.

We have plenty of food in this country, but across the world people are starving to death; we have comfortable homes, shelter and warmth, but some poor people live in shacks or tents; we have clean water and sanitation, but imagine living without those things, where disease is widespread and a killer.

We have doctors and hospitals, education and work, so many blessings that are denied to the poor across the world. Christian Aid asks you to share these blessings by donating what you can this coming week.
