Clear up dogs' mess

I WROTE about this a couple of years ago and here I am again, only the problem instead of improving has got a thousand times worse.

We must qualify as the dirtiest place in the country for dog mess. The pavements are full of it: the community centre, the grass verges ... in fact most places we walk are absolutely full of dog faeces.

To those who don’t seem to understand that word, it means that when your dog stops and defecates - or goes to the toilet - you are obliged by law to clean it up.

But as nobody apparently seems to enforce the law it means we all have to suffer the consequences of the irresponsible dog owners who, when offered a bag to pick it up, which I did, become quite indignant and aggressive.

So do we have a dog warden or are we going to continue to be the most famous place in the country for the amount of dog mess we have on our streets parks and pavements?

The community centre at Sidley will no doubt be awarded first prize for the highest amount.

Please pick up your dog mess. You wouldn’t be too happy if all of your family used the floor in your house instead of using the toilet.

But then on the other hand, judging by the way you leave the streets and pavements, perhaps it wouldnt bother you too much.
