Halfway through Bible challenge

Saturday, July 30 is half way through the Summer Bible reading challenge, 60 days gone, 60 days left.

With any ‘challenge’ you expect those taking part to have problems, but the most common one I’m hearing I never expected.

We read an average of 10 Bible chapters a day, taking an average of 35 minutes.

I was worried this would be too much, but the most common complaint is how much free time is left every day, people are so bored.

The Bible only takes 70 hours and 40 minutes to read cover to cover.

So when we finish the Summer Bible reading challenge at the end of September, for the next challenge I’m going to push the fast forward button, x2, and share the Bible in 60 days.

That’s still only an average of one hour and 10 minutes a day reading.

If you continue telling me you have too much free time, we can increase the challenge to reading the whole Bible in 30 days.
