His mates died for freedom

The overwhelming fantasy of scare mongering coming from the those who wish to see their country a subordinate province of a Euro empire can be put into perspective by an incident at the Norwich count for the 1975 referendum.

The ‘No’ box was heavily crossed, encircled and underlined. Underneath was written in a frail hand: “For me mates who died.”

His mates had died for freedom.
