A laughing stock of NHS?

Does it seem to you, that in spite of what may seem to be a determination by Jeremy Hunt to keep a lid on things, worrying facts about our NHS keep emerging and not just in the hospitals, but in the state of the ambulance service as well?

I do know, when a relative of mine, in her 90s, in another health authority, was transported by ambulance in what I considered to be a very unsatisfactory way, it took the hospital a great while to establish which ambulance service was responsible, let alone which individual was with her and supposedly caring for her.

In a recent episode of Boomers, it was suggested that given the state of staffing levels in our NHS, a Girl Guide First Aid badge would soon be sufficient qualification for this job.

Is Jeremy Hunt making a laughing stock of our NHS?
